'Plants have long-term future'

The Unite union's Tony Woodley says a deal with Magna, the proposed new owners of Vauxhall, to protect jobs at Ellesmere Port and Luton, has been reached.

Mr Woodley paid tribute to the efforts of Business Secretary Lord Mandelson in improving prospects for workers at the plants.
