Internet overtakes TV advertising


Online advertising expenditure has overtaken television for the first time, figures out today show.

The Bi-annual study from the Internet Advertising Bureau shows a growth of 4.6% in online revenue, whereas television advertising has fallen.

Chief Operating Officer of DDB advertising agency Nick Fox says online usage has "gone through the roof".
