Laid-off US banker hopes for work

Since the US recession began in December 2007, about 6.7 million jobs have been lost, the Labor Department said.

Rodneyse Bichotte, an investment banker, was laid-off from a top Wall Street firm at the height of the financial crisis.

Although she has sent out 300 job applications she has been unable to find a permanent job.
