King calls for borrowing cut

The governor of the Bank of England, Mervyn King, has called for the government to show "greater ambition" in reducing public borrowing.

He also told the Treasury Select Committee he was "more uncertain now than ever" about the prospect of the UK making a quick recovery from recession.
