With everything from car companies to major world newspapers suffering from the global economic downturn, it is no surprise that the advertising market is also shrinking.
One of the world's largest networks, Publicis, has warned that revenues could fall up to 8% this year. Saatchi and Saatchi is owned by the group, but it's chairman, Bob Seelert, believes any company can rise above recession if it takes a long term view.
He explained his thinking to Nigel Cassidy.
