Recession leaves truck stop 'deserted'

The number of lorries on UK roads has fallen dramatically, with the cut being linked to the recession, Department for Transport figures show.

The BBC's Mark Worthington spoke to Karl Rout, the owner of a truck stop, who said 40 per cent fewer lorries were visiting.
