Apple prices crushing producers


Apple growers are feeling the crunch in a price war between supermarkets.

The price of apples has fallen by more than a fifth over the past year, and while shoppers may be enjoying the lower cost, the industry is suffering.

Adrian Barlow from English Apples and Pears Ltd and apple farmer Norman Stanier told Tim Muffett how business has been affected.
