Facebook answers critics on privacy

Facebook users have been in revolt over what they see as a plan by the company to take control of their private information.

In response, the social networking website has said users can take an active role in deciding the company's policies.

In a rare interview Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg told the BBC's Laura Trevelyan that users' privacy is central to Facebook.
