UK recession 'to be confirmed'

The latest economic data is set to confirm that the United Kingdom is officially in recession. The downturn has been apparent for some time with falling house prices and rising unemployment.

However, low inflation and interest rates have eased the pressure for some people. The BBC's Mark Easton has been to see the effects of the downturn in Swindon.
