Rural economy not immune from pinch

The BBC's Jeremy Cooke has visited Hathersage in the Peak District to find out how the dowturn has impacted the rural economy.

Bob Marsden, a farmer who provides low cost accommodation for hikers, has seen a rise in bookings as more people holiday at home. He says he is optimistic.

Jane Chapman of the Peak District National Park stressed the need to keep farmers farming in the area.
