Miss Sixty put in administration

Sixty UK, the company that runs both the Miss Sixty and Energie fashion labels, has become the latest victim of the slowdown in consumer spending.

The company has been taken into administration by Vantis Business Recovery Services.

The group has 12 High Street outlets in the UK as well as concessions in major department stores across the country.

The business is trading as normal with all shops and concessions still open. No redundancies have been announced.

Vantis Business Recovery Services is a division of tax and business advisory group Vantis.

It hopes to reach agreements that will enable the business to continue trading into the future.
