EADS chief executive Louis Gallois has said he is confident he would win back a deal to supply the US Air Force with refueling tankers
The $35bn (£17bn) deal had been given to EADS and its partner Northrop Grumman, beating a bid from Boeing, but the US said mistakes had been made when the bids were evaluated.
He spoke to Nigel Cassidy about the deal, the effect of soaring oil prices and building planes in China.
