Saab sold its car division in 2000 to concentrate on defence

Saab chief executive Ake Svensson has sacked his deputy Ingemar Andersson and will begin looking for his successor straight away.
Saab AB is the Swedish aerospace and defence company that sold its interest in Saab cars to General Motors in 2000.
"Ingemar and I have concluded that our collaboration is not functioning satisfactorily," Mr Svensson said.
"I have therefore taken the decision that Ingemar will be leaving Saab," his statement added.
Saab has not said when Mr Andersson will leave the group.
