Profits and sales at online clothes retailer ASOS have more than doubled as its fashion shopping website continues to grow in popularity.
ASOS made an annual profit of £3.4m on sales of £42.6m, with about two million visits per month to its website.
ASOS - which stands for As Seen On Screen - targets 18 to 34 year olds with its fashion products, styled on clothing worn by celebrities.
Sales in the 13 weeks of the new financial year were up 85%, it added.
Richard Ratner, a retail analyst at Seymour Pierce, said that "its growth record, its market positioning and its future prospects" were encouraging.
"The growth story continues," he added.
