Ted Baker has global ambitions

UK fashion chain Ted Baker has opened its first store in Hong Kong as part of its expansion into Asia.
The retailer is also set to open outlets in Dubai, Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta in the next six months.
Ted Baker reported an 11.3% rise in pre-tax profits to £7m for the six months to 12 August, helped by growth in both its retail and wholesale sides.
Takings were boosted by the opening of its second largest US store, in Southern California.
Ted Baker began as a shirt specialist shop in Glasgow. As well as its stores across the globe, it also licenses its name for products from glasses to footwear.
