Bayoil is accused of paying bribes in exchange for Iraqi oil

David Chalmers Jr, the Texan oil tycoon accused of paying bribes to Saddam Hussein, had already been dubbed "controversial" in media reports.
Before the Iraqi indictments, Mr Chalmers had been the target of a number of investigative reports into his business practices.
Yet little known outside of the business press, his small firm Bayoil is based in Houston 'oil town' Texas.
It also has a sister firm, Bayoil Supply & Trading, based in the Bahamas.
