Wall Street Crash 1929: Timeline

The Wall Street Crash is a pretty elastic entity: depending on your perspective, you can see it stretching as far as World War II.

But the key events were crammed with bewildering speed into a few weeks in October and November 1929. Before then, Wall Street had enjoyed a summer of unmatched prosperity, into which was packed more speculative activity than during the preceding four years.
