The team

Tanya Beckett

Tanya Beckett
Tanya is one of the key presenters in the BBC Business team and has moved (with her young family) to New York to present World Business Report after a long career in the BBC's business programmes.

Most recently she was presenter of the early morning World Business Report - before this she was the presenter of BBC1's Business Breakfast.

She joined the BBC having been a business presenter on a number of international channels.

Sally Bundock

Sally Bundock
Sally joined the World Business Report team in September 2002.

She is an award-winning financial journalist and television presenter who has been covering financial news for the past seven years.

She previously worked at Bloomberg, where she created and presented their evening programme, Bloomberg Money.

During that time Sally covered many momentous events, including G7 conferences, historic EU Summits and more recently the aftermath of September 11 and its effects on the financial markets and private investors.

Educated at City University, London, Sally has continued to live in the capital and her interests include music, travel and several sports.

Manisha Tank

Manisha Tank
Manisha always had a keen interest in international affairs, both political and economic - one reason why she interned at the Foreign Office during her University years.

She studied at Oxford and obtained a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics, with her thesis focusing on international economics and politics.

She then studied post-grad broadcast journalism and kicked off her TV career.

Manisha joined the BBC from Reuters Television, where she anchored live world business programmes. She was also posted to New York, reporting from the Nasdaq market site and the floor of the NYSE.

That led to a long stint covering European markets from the London Stock Exchange.

Manisha loves playing the cello, Odissi Dancing (a classical Indian dance from Orissa state) and adventure vacations - climbing, trekking and rafting for example are among her favourites.

Jamie Robertson

Jamie Robertson
Jamie has been in financial journalism for some 20 years, starting as a freelance in Hong Kong after three years training on local newspapers in Surrey and South London.

He started his career in television in 1988 at the BBC as a reporter and a producer with the newly formed Business and Economic Unit.

He then joined Channel Four's Business Daily for three years before moving on to Sky's Business Report.

During the 1990s he also worked for Financial Times Television as a presenter for their CNBC output.

He returned to the BBC in 1999 to present the BBC's World Business Report.

Jamie is married with four children and lives in Suffolk.

His hobbies are gardening, walking, sailing, carpentry and DIY. He restored - with help - a 15th century farm house.

He was educated at Eton and Oxford and holds a BA hons in English Language and Literature.
