Bid to rescue Erika's oil


It has been six months since a stretch of French coastline was poisoned by thousands of tonnes of oil from the tanker Erika, which sank near Nantes in December. Preparations began to pump out the 15,000 tonnes of oil that remain in the stricken vessel, in order to avoid further environmental damage.
