Charlotte joined the BBC soon after graduating from university and is one of four newsreaders based permanently at the News Centre at White City.
She has also done some presenting work, notably a programme about church music, a series of classical music concerts for BBC Two called Music in Camera and a series on the language used in news bulletins for the World Service.
Charlotte was asked to be a judge for the News and Information category in the inaugural Frank Gillard Local Radio Awards this year.

As an enjoyable counterpoint to the serious stuff, Charlotte makes regular appearances on The News Quiz, which she loves.
She is very keen on the theatre and virtually all sports, particularly football (especially Spurs) and plays the piano marginally better than the late Les Dawson used to do.
