Viagra payout for crash victim
![]() Mr Chan had originally asked for a 10-year supply
A judge in Hong Kong has awarded the victim of a road traffic accident a year's supply of Viagra after he told the court his sex life had suffered as a result of his injuries.
Justice Azizul Suffiad said $555 of this should be directed towards a year's provision of the anti-impotence pill. Mr Chan had originally requested a 10-year supply of the pill, but the judge said he had failed to prove that a decade of Viagra was reasonable. Medical reports However, Justice Suffiad said the court accepted medical reports that Mr Chan's sexual problems were related to head and spinal injuries he had suffered in the accident. In a written judgement he said Mr Chan had "become absent-minded and forgetful and had poor concentration," the Hong Kong iMail reported. "His intelligence is affected in that his thoughts are muddled and he is still depressed about his injuries and his future," said the judge. "He feels a lack of stamina in general." The motorcycle rider, who admitted full liability, had disputed the amount of Mr Chan's claim, saying he was only prepared to foot the bill for one year's supply of the pills. |
