Putin takes a tumble

Russia's President Vladimir Putin was overthrown on Tuesday... by a 10-year old Japanese schoolgirl.

Mr Putin, who holds a blackbelt in Judo, ended his three-day visit to Japan with a visit to Tokyo's Kodokan Judo Centre

But the Russian strongman met his match in the form of 10-year-old Natsumi Gomi

With host Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori looking on, the rising Judo star easily swept the former KGB boss off his feet

Naturally Mr Putin said he let Natsumi throw him - but then who's going to argue with a blackbelt?
