American becomes world shrimp eating champion

Some of the world's top eaters gathered in Singapore for the world's first shrimp wonton eating competition.

Top ranked American, Joey Chestnut saw off world number two Takeru Kobayashi from Japan by gobbling up 380 in eight minutes, 10 more than his rival.

Chestnut and Kobayashi will face off again in Los Angeles for a pizza eating competition before clashing again at the world famous 'Nathan's hotdog eating competition'.
