Red-shirt protesters have stormed a satellite station compound, breaching an army cordon.

The protesters are demanding that an anti-government television channel is restored.

The People Channel was shut down by the government on Thursday under a state of emergency imposed in the city.

The red-shirt protesters have been camped out in Bangkok for nearly a month and have vowed to defy the emergency laws with more rallies.
