A 25-year-old man has become the first person to row solo from Australia to New Zealand - a journey of 2,200 kilometres.

Shaun Quincey capsized his boat twice, nearly ran out of drinking water and broke two oars on the gruelling seven-week journey.

Jenny Wivell reports.
