William meets Australian bushfire survivors

Prince William met people affected by the Australian bushfires of February 2009 at Whittlesea near Melbourne Victoria.

The Prince listened to the stories of those who survived the fires and how they were rebuilding their lives.

Later at a reception, William said the resilience of the communities hit was an example of "the spirit of Australia in its purest, most magnificent form".
