Australia 'sorry' for child abuse

A national apology has been made to 500,000 "forgotten Australians" for their treatment as children in state care.

Hundreds of people forced to migrate to Australia when they were young were at parliament in Canberra to hear Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's speech.
