Rudd's apology to the 'Forgotten'

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has made a national apology to the hundreds of thousands of "Forgotten Australians" who were abused or neglected in state care as children.

He said he hoped the national apology would help "heal the pain" and act as a turning point in Australian history.
