Obama courts China on Asia visit

US President Barack Obama has arrived on his first visit to China, a country he says he wishes to form new partnerships with.

Earlier on his Asian tour, Mr Obama urged Burma's prime minister to release the pro-democracy leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, at a Association of South East Asian Nations meeting in Singapore.
