Deadly floods in the Philippines

At least 50 people have been reported dead or missing after nearly a month's worth of rain fell in just six hours on the Philippine capital, as Tropical Storm Ketsana slammed ashore.

The government declared a state of emergency in Manila and about two dozen storm-hit provinces.
