Kazakh helicopter crash kills 10

A border guards helicopter has crashed in southern Kazakhstan, killing 10 people, officials say.

Another three people on board the MI-8 helicopter were injured. All the victims were members of the border security force.

The incident happened in the remote Ugamsk Gorge. The cause of the crash was not immediately known.

The MI-8 was heading to the border with Uzbekistan after reports that an armed group was operating there.
