Chinese children suffer lead poisoning

Chinese state media say that 600 children are now suffering from lead poisoning after contamination from a factory in the country's north west.

More than 80 percent of the 731 children living in two villages near a lead and zinc smelting company in Shaanxi province have tested positive for lead poisoning.

The factory has been closed and people living in the area will be relocated.

James Robbins reports.
