Asian 'regrets' at Suu Kyi verdict

Asean, the regional body for South East Asia, has offered rare criticism of Burma's regime, one day after the sentencing of pro-democracy campaigner Aung San Suu Kyi to a further 18 months of house arrest.

China has given a different response, saying the world should "fully respect the country's judicial sovereignty".
