Police commandos storm S Korean factory

South Korean police have stormed a factory occupied by hundreds of sacked workers.

Commandos had been laying siege to the Ssang Yong car plant, outside Seoul, for weeks.

They moved in when the latest attempt to end the dispute failed and were met with firebombs thrown by the strikers.

The protest began in May, when the factory announced large-scale job losses.
