Fugitive linked to Jakarta attacks

Indonesian police are pointing to a link between Friday's bomb attacks in Jakarta and a splinter faction of the Islamist militant group, Jemaah Islamiya.

Senior anti-terror officials say there are strong indications the bombings were masterminded by a Malaysian extremist, Noordin Mohamed Top, who heads a splinter faction of the group.

At least nine people, including two suicide bombers, were killed in the hotel explosions.

Alastair Leithead reports from Jakarta.
