A 19-year-old British backpacker missing in Australia for 12 days has been found alive.

Jamie Neale, from Muswell Hill, north London, went missing in dense bushland in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.

His father Richard Cass, who travelled to Australia to help find him, has spoken of his relief at being reunited with him.

But he said he "had a go" at his son for being stupid and not being prepared when he went into the bush.
