China quake destroys 10,000 homes

An earthquake in south-western China has destroyed 10,000 homes and injured more than 300 people, according to state media.

Xinhua news agency said thousands of tents, quilts and other aid materials had been sent to Yunnan province.

Chris Hogg reports from Beijing.
