Holding elections on 17,000 islands

Voters in Indonesia will elect a new president on 8 July, a decade after the country was convulsed by sectarian clashes as it emerged from 30 years of authoritarian rule.

Around 170 million registered people, spread out over 17000 islands will choose from a field of three candidates.

Karishma Vaswani reports from Pramuka off the coast of Jakarta on the challenge of ensuring everyone has the opportunity to vote.
