Thousands mourn for Roh Moo-hyun

Special ceremonies are being held for South Korean ex-President Roh Moo-hyun, who committed suicide amid bribery claims.

The ceremony began with the South Korean national anthem, after a hearse brought former President Roh from his hometown of Bongha to the capital.

Supporters threw yellow paper planes at the hearse as it passed, a colour that is associated with the former leader.
