Rudd anounces national mourning day

Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has announced a national day of mourning for victims of the wildfires that swept through the state of Victoria.

Bodies are still being retrieved from towns that were destroyed by the fires, while survivors have taken refuge in aid centres and are camping out in tents.
