Australians survey fire damage

Wildfires raging across parts of south-eastern Australia have now killed more than 170 people.

Some victims died in their cars as they tried to escape the fast-moving flames.

Entire towns have been destroyed in the fires, fanned by extremely high temperatures and unpredictable winds.
