Two Burmese fishermen have survived for almost a month in shark-infested waters by floating on an ice box after their fishing boat sank off Australia's north coast.
Helicopter pilot Terry Gadenne told Australian television the men were gasping for water when they were rescued by coastal patrol aircraft.
Doctor Ric Gordon added the human body could not survive for long without water.
