Anti-government protesters are continuing to besiege Bangkok airport in their attempts to force the resignation of the Thai government. The Head of the Army has called on the government to step down and for fresh elections to be called, moves that both sides have rejected.

Flights have been suspended and at least 3,000 passengers have been stranded.

Daniela Relph reports.
