Anti-uranium demos in Australia
Thousands of Australians have been demonstrating against plans to build a vast uranium mine in a national park in the north of the country . They say the Jabiluka mine could destroy the park's fragile ecosystem. Marches were held in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, with Australian aborigines joining the protests.
