Danish PM in China
The Danish Prime Minister, Poul Nyrup Rasmussen, has arrived in China at the start of an eight-day visit to mark the fiftieth anniversary of diplomatic ties. He's expected to raise human rights issues as well as China's rule in Tibet in his talks with his counterpart, Zhu Rongji and President Jiang Zemin. From the newsroom of the BBC World Service |
