Indonesia bomb blast injures one
map
A bomb has exploded at a fast food restaurant in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, injuring one person.

Police say they suspect the injured person was behind the attack.

The blast happened around midday local time at an American-style outlet in a shopping centre in east Jakarta, shattering windows.

Indonesia has been hit by a series of bombings in recent years, often linked to Islamic militants but also separatist groups or criminals.

A Jakarta police spokesman said the man hurt in the blast was being treated at a nearby hospital.

"Initially we suspect that the person who set (the blast) off was the victim," he said.
