China space launch: Yazhuo Ye
I think it's important to be ambitious, to pursue a role in the world as a superpower.

MEET THE PANEL
Yazhuo Ye
Name: Yazhuo Ye
Age: 32
Lives: Ningbo
Works: Sales manager

This launch will put China on the map. We account for a big part of the world's population, we need to play a big role in the world.

What really matters is how you use your power when you have it.

Are you going to be showy, arrogant and manipulative? Are you going to be a bully or protector?

I don't think Western countries understand China, I believe their vision of this country is outdated.

Hopefully, this launch will help others understand our progress better.

I was recently watching a programme about our history and I was really moved when I saw that China was one of the first countries to send explorers around the world centuries ago.

CHINA SPACE PANEL
My sense is that Western people feel superior to Chinese people, as if we are sending a launch into space purely to impress them.

But we can act as a balance to other global players.

There is a saying in China that many legs makes the table more stable. The world needs the EU and China to balance the power of the US.

Maybe this launch will prove our powers.
