Car bomb in Tajikistan capital
An explosion in the centre of the Tajik capital Dushanbe has killed one person, and left several injured.

A car loaded with explosives blew up outside the emergencies ministry, killing the driver, a deputy minister told the Associated Press news agency.

Windows were blown out and several other cars set on fire by the blast.

Tajikistan suffered a five-year civil war from 1992-97, following the break-up of the former Soviet Union, and will hold elections next month.
