At least 37 people have been killed after a rain-triggered landslide smashed into a bus on the Indonesian island of Sumatra, say officials.
Rescue workers used spades and hoes to try to reach at least six people still buried beneath the tons of mud. An official said 14 people were injured.
The bus was travelling near the border of west and north Sumatra provinces on Friday evening when it was hit.
The landslide crashed on to the mountain road, almost burying the bus.
"Until now there are 37 people who died," said local police sergeant Satria Dinata on local radio.
He was quoted as saying the bus had been almost entirely covered by the mud.
Deforestation and a lengthy rainy season cause dozens of landslides and flash floods each year in Indonesia.
