Fire at Philippines police HQ

There have been a series of explosions at the Philippine national police headquarters in Manila, according to police and witnesses.

The blasts happened after a fire in the armoury of the Camp Crame building where explosives, bullets and other weapons were stored.

No details have been given about casualties or the cause of the fire.

Police said there were a number of people on duty in the building when the fire started.
